With our unique design, proprietary daily programming, and specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia training for all staff members, Town Square was developed as an innovative alternative to the standard adult day options. Each 1950s-themed storefront includes activities and experiences based on members’ interests, hobbies, and abilities. The daily calendar includes a wide variety of fun and engaging activities, such as themed events, visiting entertainment, technology, exercise, cognitive stimulation, creative expression, and so much more. The Town Square experience transports members to another time and place with the look and feel of a 1950s small town. Our innovative activity rooms, called storefronts, help put members at ease and spark memories of the past by utilizing vintage design elements and décor. Each storefront, from the Game Room to Starlite Theater to Glenner Park, has been meticulously designed to create an immersive, nostalgic environment where memories come to the forefront and members are inspired to share stories with their peers. Imagine listening to your favorite classic radio program in the Little Blue House, designed to replicate a 1950s family den. Or being a Price is Right contestant in the bright and cheery Rosie’s Diner, complete with a working jukebox!

Time spent at Town Square provides members with:

  • a day full of purpose, companionship, and enjoyment
  • social participation with peers in an inviting atmosphere
  • a sense of independence and accomplishment
  • a positive influence that supports self-identity, self-esteem, and mood
