Symptoms of Gallbladder Disease

  • Although pain in the upper right abdomen is the hallmark symptom of gallbladder disease, other common and uncommon symptoms can occur depending on the underly cause.

With common conditions such as gallstones, you might also experience fever, nausea, vomiting, or jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes). With other types of gallbladder disease, you might experience unusual symptoms like chest pain, indigestion, bloating, or diarrhea that you may not readily recognize as a gallbladder problem.
